What data we process
When you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you choose to share, such as your name, contact details, messages, and details needed to answer questions or arrange an appointment.
If a treatment relationship begins, information about health and other details needed for care may be documented in accordance with the rules that apply to licensed healthcare professionals.
When you visit the website, technical information needed to display and operate the site is processed, such as IP address, browser information, time of access, and requested page.
Why the data is processed
Information is processed in order to respond to enquiries, manage bookings, provide care, maintain necessary records, handle administration and bookkeeping, and keep the website secure and available.
The legal basis is normally contract or steps prior to entering into a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest, or, for health data, the special rules that apply within healthcare.
Sensitive data
Health information is considered sensitive personal data. Please avoid including sensitive information in an initial email. A short note saying that you would like to book an appointment or be contacted is enough, and the rest can be handled in a safer setting.
How long data is stored
Contact details and messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the matter. If no contact or treatment relationship begins, the information is normally deleted no later than within 12 months.
Bookkeeping records are stored in accordance with accounting rules. Patient records are kept in accordance with Swedish patient data law, normally for at least ten years after the last entry.
Who may access the data
Personal data may be handled by service providers needed for email, telephony, web hosting, IT, administration, and bookkeeping. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities if required by law.
The website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. This means technical information about the browser request may be sent to Google when the page is opened.
Cookies and tracking
The website currently does not use cookies, pixels, or local storage for analytics, advertising, or marketing. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tracking tools.
If the website starts using non-essential cookies or similar technologies in the future, this information will be updated and consent will be collected before such technologies are used.
Your rights
You have the right to request information about which personal data is being processed about you. You may also request correction, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing, and in some cases receive data in a structured format.
Some information cannot be deleted immediately if there is a legal requirement to retain it, for example patient records or accounting material.
