Sometimes therapy begins by letting a few simple, honest questions stay with you a little longer. Here are some possible starting points for reflection.
No question has to be answered right away.
Some questions work on us slowly. They can stay beside you until you notice that something in them begins to move.
What was it like for me to be a child?
How does my inner child live in me today?
Which needs were met?
Which needs were not met?
How close am I to living within our mutual dependence on one another?
Do I live in harmony with all that is alive ... ?
All of my experience is allowed to exist. My vulnerability and smallness too. To include and make room for what hurts, rather than pushing it down or turning away from it.
Healing is possible, with support and patience.
